What worry about warts?

A wart is a viral skin growth caused by the human papillomavirus. They can grow anywhere on the body, and are contagious. They should be treated as soon as possible because they are ugly, and can be painful.

Warts are spread by direct or indirect contact in public places, especially locker rooms, gym mats, and public shower stalls.

The most common kind of wart is grayish, raised, and painless. Warts can vary in size. They are most common on the feet, soles of the feet, hands and fingers.

When seeking treatment for warts, be sure to look for a treatment which is fast, inexpensive, and reasonably painless. Treatment should also minimize scarring or prevent it all together.
