Ok- so get this- did you know that snail gel extract has skin regenerating properties?

Apparently the secretions (read slime) from the Chilean snail: Helix Aspersa Muller can be used to treat skin blemishes, including acne, acne scars, age spots, freckles, rosacea, wrinkles, scars (including keloid ones), stretch marks and dull complexion.

The [tag-tec]snail extract[/tag-tec] contains natural protein & vitamins, as well as allantoin, collagen, elastin and glycolic acid. The blend of these, together, can improve many skin problems.

For example, collagen and elastin improve the structure and firmness of skin. Glycolic acid helps with exfoliation. Allantoin helps reduce scars and stretch marks.

The glycolic acid in snail extract is natural so it is less likely to irritate your skin the way manufactured glycolic acid might.

Ok. So I have to admit- even with all these wonderful benefits, I don’t really want to be putting snail slime on my face.
